Log in to https://developer.apple.com with a registered apple developer account.
Navigate to the ‘Certificates, Identifier and Profiles’ section.
Select ‘Keys’ from the left bar and then click ‘+’ icon alongside ‘Keys’ heading for the sub-section.
Enter a reference name for the key, e.g. ‘APNs Key’, and checkmark Enable checkbox along ‘Apple Push Notification service (APNs)’ named field in the table below.
Click ‘Continue’ and then click ‘Register’ in the next page.
Click ‘Download’ for downloading the key (.p8 file) and copy the displayed Key ID and then click ‘Done’.
