There are two ways in which you can resolve a learner’s account deletion request.
One is directly via their email ID and the other is through filtering for all the accounts who have requested a deletion. In this article, we help you understand them both.
Case 1: Delete a learner directly
1. Go to Users from the left navigation bar and click on Learners.
2. You can search for the email ID of the learner whom you want to delete and click on their profile image or the arrow icon on the right.
3. Once you’re on the learner’s account information page, you will see two options on the top:
- Block Discussion- The learner will be blocked from all the discussions in the community.
- Deactivate- The learner won't be able to access the course platform.
4. scroll down to the last section of the page.
4. Check the box to agree to delete the learner profile and click on Delete.
Case 2: Requested for account deletion
If you want to look at all the learners who have requested to delete their accounts, follow this process.
1. Click on More to go to more filters.
2. Choose Deletion requested filter to open the drop-down.
4. Check Yes to filter out all the learners who have requested account deletion.
5. Click on Apply Filters.
6. Click on the user profile icon as mentioned in Step 2 of case 1.
7. Here you have to option to cancel the account deletion request of the learner.
8. Scroll down to the Delete Learner section and check the box to agree to delete the learner's profile.
This is how you can delete a learner's account and address their deletion request.
