This guide describes how to integrate Mailchimp within your Graphy platform
MailChimp is specifically curated to cater to your Email Marketing needs. It helps you manage a large audience in setting up automated Emails & much more.
Whether you are already using Mailchimp or planning to use it, Graphy now allows its integration on your platform.
Go to your DASHBOARD > INTEGRATIONS > Third Party.
In the "Third-Party Integration" page, scroll down. Find "Email Integration" and click on "Yes".
Once you select "Yes", you will be asked for "Mailchimp API Key" & "Mailchimp List/ Audience Id".
To fill in the above-asked information, open a new window & login to your Mailchimp account. Click on your Username on the top right, select "Account".
Now go to "Extras" & select "API Keys". Scroll down in the landing page and select "Create A Key".
Your API Key will be created. Copy your API Key & move to your Graphy platform where you last left.
Paste your API Key on your Graphy platform. For your "Mailchimp List? Audience Id", go back to your Mailchimp account.
Once you land back to your Mailchimp account, select "Audience". On the right, click on "Manage Audience" drop-down menu, then select "settings".
In the landing page, scroll down. At the bottom, you will find "Unique Id for Audience". Copy the Id & head towardsthe Graphy platform.
Paste the "Audience Id" and click on "Save". Your Mailchimp account will get connected to the Graphy platform.
Once you are done with the process mentioned above, every time a new user signs up at your platform, he will automatically get added to your existing Audience List.
In your Mailchimp account, the user's information will include their Email, Name, Address, Phone Number, Birthday & Tags. For every course, a Tag will be created, which will help you filter your audience on the "Tag/Course" basis.
Filter your audience on Tag Basis
While setting up a campaign on Mailchimp, you can filter your audience on the tag basis.
To set up the campaign, click on "Campaigns" & select "Create New".
Now select Email Campaign > Fill Campaign Name > Begin.
Select "Edit Recipients".
You can filter your audience using "Segment or Tag". Click on the drop-down menu to select your required tag.
Some important Tags are as follows:
1) Course Title
When you are targeting all the learners of a particular course.
Example: Physics
2) Course Title - just enrolled
When you are targeting all the learners of a particular course who have just enrolled.
Example: Physics- Just Enrolled
3) Course Title - payment initiated
When you are targeting all the learners of a particular course who initiated the payment.
Example: Physics- payment initiated
4) Course Title - completed
When you are targeting all the learners of a particular course who completed the course.
Example: Physics- Completed
5) Course Title - in progress
When you are targeting all the learners of a particular course who began studying from the course.
Example: Physics- in progress
6) Free-user (on signup)
These are the users who signed up on your platform but haven't purchased the course.
7) Subscriber (on Contact Us form)
These are the learners who submitted their details & contacted via "Contact Us" form.
You can scroll & select your required tags.
Finally, Add Subject, Design your E-mail & Schedule.
