How to create a course?

This article is a step-by-step guide on creating a course and providing all the necessary details before making it live.

Step 1: Go to your Graphy dashboard and click the products icon from the left navigation.

Step 2: Now select Courses.

Step 3: Click on the Create Course button and then enter the title of the course.

Step 4: Next, you can manually enter a description or generate using AI.

Step 5:  After the description is ready, click on Apply changes.

Step 6: Scroll down to add the price of the course and the discounted price. You can make it free by switching off the toggle button.

Step 7: Once done, click on Next.

Step 8: At this point, you have the option to manually add chapters or generate them using AI. 

Generate using AI:

Use the AI feature to create an outline for your course quickly. You can easily edit and modify this outline by adding chapters, editing names, and making changes to your content.

Add manually:

• Upload New: The "Upload New Item" feature allows you to add diverse content to your course: PDF, Video, Audio, SCORM, and File.

• Creating New Item: The "Create a new item" section allows you to add content. You can add content in Heading, Text, Link, Quiz, Live Test, Live Class, Assignment, and Form. This feature helps create a structured, interactive, and engaging learning experience.

• Import from the Asset Library [The Asset Library contains all assets (videos, documents, files, etc uploaded across all the courses, regardless of whether they are published or not].

• To add a chapter, you can upload an item or create a new one.
• To upload an item, you can choose from a PDF, a video, an audio file, a SCORM package, or any other file.
• When creating a new item, you have the option to create a heading, add text, embed a link, design a quiz, create a live test, conduct a live class, make an assignment, or collect user information using a form.

Step 9: For this demonstration, we're simply adding a heading.

Step 10: Enter the heading and click on Submit.

• Now your chapter is added. You can create more chapters or just add chapter items.
• Also, add an appealing course cover.

Note: cover size should be 600x400. Maximum image size should be 300KB.

Step 11: Once all chapter items are added, click on Save course and Publish it.

Congratulations! Your course is now published.

Step 12: You can copy the link to the course and share it with your learners on different social media channels.
