This guide explains how to add a multiple-correct question to a quiz. If unfamiliar with creating a quiz, refer to the guide on adding a quiz to a course. For this demonstration, a quiz has already been created.
Adding a Multiple Correct Question
Step 1: Click on New Question.
Step 2: Select Multiple Correct Options as the type of question to add.
Step 3: Choose the Subject of the question.
Example: Maths.
Step 4: Select the Topic.
Example: Algebra.
Step 5: Add Tags to easily locate the question later in the asset library. You need to separate the tags by comma.
Example: Mathematics, Modern Math, Algebra, Number System.
Is Group Question?
Sometimes a batch of questions is formed from one single Question.
Example: A reading comprehension question will have a batch of questions from one common ground only. If this question is one of them, tick it off.
Step 6: Enter the Question.
Example Question: Which number is greater than 10?
a) 11
b) 100
c) 5
d) 9
Answer: a) 11 & b) 100
Step 7: Add Options for the question. To add options click on "+" right below the last option.
Step 8: Select the correct Options.
Step 9: Provide an Explanation for the answers.
Configuring Advanced Settings
Click on Advanced Settings to configure the order, marking scheme, and individual correct options.
- Define the order of the question by giving them numerical value.
- Adjust the marking scheme by adding marks or penalties.
- Add points to individual correct options, if desired.
- Click on Submit.
After successfully adding the multiple choice question, submit the changes.
Repeat the process to add more questions.
Once you are done click on Save Course to update all changes.
