This article would guide you through creating a new assignment as well as reviewing them once the learners submit them.
Once the learner has submitted the assignment, you can review them.
Steps to Review an Assignment:
In your left navigation, click on the Courses, then go to "Assignments".
Search Assignment Title
In the box, you can search the name of the assignment which you want to review. Type the assignment name then click on search, the available result will follow.
Available for Reviews
Besides the individual assignments, there are respective numbers given on "available for review". These numbers show the number of students who have submitted that particular assignment.
Once the learner submits an assignment, it automatically goes into pending for review.
Click on the assigned number under "Available for Reviews".
You will be redirected to the Assignment Submissions Manager. Assignment Submissions Manager is the tab where all the details of that particular assignment including the students' info are shown here.
Name
This shows the name of the learner who has submitted the assignment.
Email
This shows the E-mail of the learner who has submitted the assignment.
Status
This shows the status of the learner's assignment.
File
This the actual Assignment which is sent by the learner in the form of a file.
Click on the file, it will automatically open in a new tab.
After going through the assignment you can choose to approve or reject the assignment or send a customized text.
Submit Date
This shows the date on which the learner has submitted the assignment.
To approve the assignment click on the "✓" icon placed under "Actions".
To reject the assignment click on the "X" icon placed under "Actions".
To send a customized message to the learner, click on the "message" icon placed under "Actions".
Every time you take an action for any particular assignment, that learner will get a mail about it instantly.
Reviewed
Placed just beside the individual assignments, there are respective numbers given on "Reviewed". These numbers show the number of learners whose assignments have already been reviewed.
If you wish to change the action taken on that particular assignment, then you can do it under "Actions".
Rejected
Placed just beside the individual assignments, there are respective numbers given on "Rejected". These numbers show the number of learners whose assignments have already been reviewed & rejected.
If you wish to change the action taken on that particular assignment, or approve them after rejecting, then you can do it under "Actions".
