This article guides you on how to design your online course website including SEO optimisation.
Visit your Dashboard > DESIGN > Website.
Themes
On the landing page, under “Themes”, you can change your theme, customize its design & add a new page.
Preview Theme
Hover on the available theme to “preview” your themes.
If you want to change your theme, scroll down, select your preferred theme & click on “Publish”.
You can customize the design of any page by clicking on the “Design” option beside your preferred web page.
On the landing page, you would be able to customize the web page.
Next up, you can edit the code of any page by clicking on the “Code” icon on the header of your preferred web page.
Navigation
Next, head over to the “Navigation” option to edit the header & footer.
Header
The header is the top margin of your course website. If you want to customise it then select “Yes”, click on the “Edit header” & edit it.
However, if you don’t want a custom header, click on “No”.
Footer
Footer is the bottom side of your web page.
You can make changes on the Footer, by clicking on "Custom Footer".
Under “Footer Controls”, you can change its background color, height, text color, etc
Additionally, you can add your social media accounts URL in order to add them onto your footer.
In order to remove your page from your header option, click on “No” under “visible”.
Finally, to save the above changes click on “Save”.
Once your header & footer customisation is done, scroll up & go to the “SEO” tab.
SEO
This option enables you to make your course more SEO Friendly for better reach & visibility.
To make your homepage SEO optimised, make the following changes while using the relevant keywords to attract your target audience:
Home Page
Page Title
This is the name of your course platform using which your audience would find you.
Page Description
Your page description appears on your home page where you can describe your course platform.
Page Keywords
This includes the keywords that you want to rank for, on the search engines.
After the above changes, click on “Save”.
Store
The store is the course website page where your courses are displayed.
To make your course store page SEO optimised, make the following changes:
Store Title
This is the name of your course store using which your audience would find your courses.
Store Description
Your page description appears on your course store page where you can describe your courses.
Store Keywords
This includes the keywords that you want to rank for, on the search engines.
After the above changes, click on “Save”.
Settings
Scroll up & click on the “Settings” tab to update your site logo, favicon, color theme & other settings.
Site Name
This is the name of your course website or your institute's name which will be visible on your course website, app as well as E-mails.
If you want to update your site name, just enter a new name & click “update”.
Site Logo
Your site icon is the virtual & pictorial representation of your institutes' course website.
Go to Site Logo & click on "Choose File" to choose the file from your PC. Now choose the file from your PC and then click on "upload". Make sure that your chosen Site Logo size has 300 px height or Width at max.
Site Favicon
The favicon appears on the top of the web browser next to your platforms' URL.
Click on "Choose File", choose the file from your PC and click on "upload".
Please note that the Favicon size should be 16*16 or 32*32.
Color Schemes
Color theme is the color combination used in your course website to make it look branded & appealing.
To update your theme, click on the chosen theme, select your new theme & “update”.

Store Theme
The default view is ListView. To switch to the category view, click on “Category Wise View”.
To choose filters, click on Category Label > respective category > Save.
