This guide provides a step-by-step process to notify your existing learners every time you make some changes to your course platform.
While making necessary changes within your course platform, you can make your learners aware of the same.
You can send them either a web push notification that will land them on your course website or a mobile push notification that will take them to your mobile app.
Here are a few courses of events during which you can notify them via web push and/or mobile push:
Case 1: Uploading Your Course Content
Go to the left nav & click on “Courses” > All courses. Now select the course you want to update & go to its “course builder”.
Now, click“ Add chapter item”. Once you upload the content, click on “Save”.
While clicking on “Save”, a new box will pop up. If you want to update learners about a new chapter, click on “Save & Notify Learners”. Check the “web push” if you wish to notify learners on your website and/or click on “mobile push” to notify learners via the app.
Case 2: Manually Enrol New Learners into a Course
Go to your left nav, select "Courses"> All courses. Select a course.
Just below your preferred course, click on the "Learners" section.
You will be redirected to the Learners' Details tab of that particular course. Now click on “Enrol”, search the user & click on “okay”. Check the “web push” if you just want to notify learners on your website and/or click on “mobile push” to notify learners via the app.
