In this article, we'll guide you on how to add a video to your course.
Step 1: Click on the products icon on the left navigation bar.
Step 2: Now select courses.
Here, you will find a list of courses that you have created.
Step 3: Choose the course to which you want to add the video and click on the course builder icon.
Inside the course builder, you can either add a new chapter or a chapter item. For this demonstration, we're adding a chapter item.
Step 4: Under the upload section, select video.
Step 5: You have several options to add a video. You can upload a video directly, or you can add a YouTube video link or Vimeo video, Sprout video link, or a link to the video where it is hosted. Alternatively, you can add an embed code for the video.
Step 6: Here, we're uploading a video.
Step 7: Click on Choose File and select your video. You can upload a video of up to five GB.
Step 8: After selecting your video, click on Upload.
Step 9: Now, fill in all the details of the chapter item.
- The title is pre-filled from the video name, but you can edit it if necessary.
- You can also add a tag to your video.
- The video's duration will be added automatically once the video has been processed.

You have the option to enable or disable a watermark, and you can add a description for your video.
- You can enable the captions for your video by adding a .srt file.
- You can also choose whether your video should autoplay or not.
- You can also choose when the video should be available and whether to restrict video consumption.
- The video's thumbnail is selected automatically from the video. You can change it by clicking on the Choose File button.
- The video will take some time to be processed. Once done, the thumbnail and the video duration will be fetched automatically.
- Click on Save Course to save your changes. You can notify your users about the new video via mobile or web push notifications. Click on Notify to send these notifications.
And that's it! Your video has been successfully added to the course.
