How to Resolve the Compliance Warning for the European Union Digital Services Act (DSA) Trader Requirements
Starting October 16, 2024, iOS developers must declare their trader status to submit new apps or app updates for distribution within the European Union. This requirement aligns with the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA). Follow the steps below to ensure your compliance:
Steps to Comply with the DSA Trader Requirements:

Log in to App Store Connect
Access your account by visiting App Store Connect and logging in with your credentials. -
Navigate to the Business Section
Once logged in, select the Business tab from the main menu. -
Complete Compliance Requirements
In the highlighted section on the Business page, click on 'Complete Compliance Requirements'. -
Declare Your Trader Status
Indicate whether you are a trader according to the European Union's Digital Services Act.

Verify Contact Information (If Applicable)
If you have declared that you are a trader under the DSA, you'll need to add and verify your contact information. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete this step. -
