Prerequisite
Before you start with enabling Play Integrity API, please ensure that you have a service account created for your Play Console account. If you haven't done so already, we have provided step-by-step instructions in our help section on how to create a service account. You can find the instructions here
If you have already created the service account and added it to your app builder, you can skip the above step and proceed to enable the Play Integrity API.
Steps to enable Play Integrity API -
- Log into the Play Console and select the app for enabling Play Integrity API.
- In the Release section of the left menu, go to Setup > App integrity and navigate to the Integrity API tab.
- Click on the Link Project button, as shown in the screenshot above.
- Now select Link Existing Project.
- Ensure the project selected in the dropdown is the same project linked to Play Console in the steps to create service account, and click on the Link Project button.
